It is often said that old age does not come alone, but also that it is a gift. While preparing for this exhibition, the artist was exploring this idea of it’s gifts, and the the thought of how many little hands Methuselah might have held in what is considered to be his nearly millennium long lifetime? At the same time the connections we share with each other through the interaction of our hands started fascinating the artist, they are two small points at which we meet each-other and the world, through which we express ourselves, and through which we create moments that burn themselves into our memories.
